Desktop Vaporizers

Desktop vaporizers are one of the original methods to safely vape herbs and herb concentrates. They were designed as an alternative to smoking herbs in a traditional rolling paper or through a standard hand pipe or bong. They differ significantly from portable vaporizers as they can only be used while stationary.

Desktop Units or Tabletop Vaporizers are great for both beginners and more experienced vapers and come in three different styles: whip-style vaporizers, forced-air vaporizers, or dual-function. These units feature conduction and convection heating chambers that use temperature control and internal fans to warm the herb material to a precise temperature to produce vapor.

The vapor is inhaled through a plastic tube, referred to as a whip, or through an easy valve mouthpiece attached to a vaporizer bag that uses forced air.

Stationary vapes are designed to sit on top of flat surfaces and usually cost more than portable vaporizers or vape pens. This is due to them containing many more parts, being substantially larger, and for their superior vapor quality.

How to use a desktop vaporizer?

A Desktop vaporizer offers two standard methods to take a hit: The user can either inhale vapor in from the silicone tube, also known as a whip, or through the mouthpiece attached to the forced air-filled balloon bag. Some multifunction units offer both options for a more tailored vaping session.

Start by grinding your herbs, then load them into the vaporizer's heating chamber.
Activate your device and select the desired temperature through the standard button controls, digital display, or through the remote control Bluetooth app that many devices now use.
When the desired temperature is reached, hot air will be pulled over and through your material to release vapor.
As you inhale, the vapor will travel through the vapor path and into your lungs for a smooth direct draw.
